Forest County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, arrange a release, post bond, or obtain an official booking record for a visitor. Use the public office or locator responsible for the record instead.

Official Records and Custody Contacts

The Forest County Sheriff is the documented county starting point for Sheriff-held booking records and current jail questions. The Sheriff’s official site lists the office, jail, investigations, and other contact routes. Dispatch is described as operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. No general public counter hours for booking-photo or records requests were verified, so confirm office availability before visiting.

Forest County Sheriff’s Office

Address:
100 South Park Ave.
Crandon, WI 54520

Main, records, and dispatch:
(715) 478-3331
Emergency: 911

For a historical Sheriff-held booking record or photograph, use the Forest County Open Records Request Form. It permits pickup, mail, or email delivery and includes a Photos checkbox. It says a response may take up to 10 business days, while pending matters, protected material, and redactions can limit release. A request should identify the known date range, person or incident, originating agency, and the item sought.

Use the official Forest County Jail page for jail information. The county’s Inmate List link should be checked if it is accessible, but its folder contents were not independently verified during research. For participating county-jail status and notification enrollment, use Wisconsin VINE or call 1-888-944-8463. VINE is a custody and notification service, not a photograph search.

  • For a public Forest County circuit-court case or later disposition, search Wisconsin Circuit Court Access. It is not a current custody locator or a booking-photo archive.
  • For a record originating with a municipal or tribal police agency, contact that originating agency first, then ask whether the Sheriff holds any related booking material.
  • For a person sentenced to state prison or under DOC community supervision, use the Wisconsin DOC offender locator. It does not list county-jail custody.
  • For federal inmates, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator. For immigration detention, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator.
